ARTBOARD PODCAST
An educational graphic design podcast presented by lecturers and students from University Campus Doncaster, inspiring the next generation of designers.
The challenge was to design a logo to work with the University of Doncaster’s new graphic design podcast. The podcast is run by tutors and students with special guest speakers from the world of graphic design with an aim to offer industry tips and insights to current students as well as enticing new students to the university with advice on beginning their journey.
The brief was to create a fun logo that appealed to a younger audience that could also be used as part of a cover image for the podcast. The design had to show a level of creativity whilst staying relevant and maintaining a connection to the University of Doncaster. This was achieved by incorporating the colours used by the university in their crest logo.

“The bold title really grabs our attention. I like how you have incorporated the pen tool which ties in with the background. It was also great to see you apply the logo to relevant mockups as this helped to bring it to life.”
“A great concept, finished off excellently. You have considered everything and the incorporation of the illustrator icon just finalised the concept so well, making it recognisable to graphic designers.”
